Pleasantly situated and comfortable. It's a beautiful spot and the hotel setting and grounds are very nice. Having a cooked to order breakfast was great. The staff were great and we enjoyed the personal tour when we arrived, something that you don't get in the big hotels.

The bedroom had a distnctive "drain"smell when we first arrived and this was definitely from the bathroom. We managed to air this out but perhaps needs looking into. Our main criticism of the hotel is the bar area. We had a meal there on the Saturday evening and it's very dull, lacked an atmosphere partly due to its size and just feels a bit austere.

The room was quiet and bright, included with enormous bathroom, superb views, as for instance. Plenty of food for breakfast, which was lovely to satisfy everyone. The staff was courteous and polite, everything was great.

The hotel has a wonderful property with reasonably priced rooms. The staff is really kind and very nice, with an easy manner and humor. The rooms are tasteful and quiet with a lovely view. The location is stunning and it's easy to get anywhere. The live entertainment on Friday evening carried on until after midnight, and the hotel is so close to the restaurant, garden, and public areas.

I don't think I can explain just how enjoyable my experience at this hotel was. The location was stunning, the hotel itself had a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff (several of whom came and introduced themselves during our 2 night stay) and the food (both in the bar and restaurant) was delicious - we were very impressed with the standard. My friends and family will certainly be receiving a recommendation to visit this incredibly warm and inviting hotel... And if they don't wish to stay the night I would certainly suggest they sample the menu, both evening and morning meals were fantastic.

If I were to be very picky indeed and make one comment it would be that if you wish to sit in the bar outwith peak times be aware that it can take a little patience to get served - that said there is a bell to ring and it was easy to have a little wander to find an employee to get service. Everyone was very approachable so this minor detail didn't feel like any sort of inconvenience.

We had a great way to end our weekend at the well-run and very peaceful hotel. The hotel had a nice restaurant and beautiful, lovely location. The facilities were really comfortable, and we enjoyed the new-fashioned room with larger windows, a huge bathroom, and superb views up-and-down the glen. The staff was excellent and efficient, providing very good service during our thoroughly enjoyable stay. The breakfast offered plenty of fabulous food. we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Fortingall Hotel. The location is beautiful, the staff is excellent, and the facilities are comfortable. The restaurant provided delicious food, and the views from the room were superb. We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Roaring log fires and some lovely touches like ground coffee and loose leaf tea in rooms. Fabulous food. All made extra special by getting a last minute booking at a bargain price! Would definitely return and already recommending to friends.

Great location! It's close to a restaurant, bar, and supposedly the oldest tree in the UK. There's also a beautiful valley nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful all the time. 😊

The location ,excellent as a base for hill walking, canoeing ,other water sports lots more..

The only down side was the pillows. When i took off the pillow case the pillows were covered in brown stains, .and they were hard and flat.Very cheap pillows and duvet. Not really acceptable for a 4 star hotel and £110 a night.
